Supply and install Artificial Grass, (GMC) brand, for golf courses. The type of grass has to pass all international standards and qualities for professional player use. The total golf quantity is 6,000 sqm. Phase II will require additional 7,000 sqm of golf AG. Which makes total quantity 13,000 sqm. The project involved to grass colors; light green and dark green to mimic the look of natural grass.
The ground surface nature has to have curves and ups and downs with small hills similar to the standard golf courses. The main aim of making Artificial Grass instead on natural grass is to avoid and save the huge amount of turf maintenance. Especially that golf turf needs tremendous amount of very sensitive and accurate maintenance to keep the grass in perfect and healthy shape.
Thanks to client wise choice of make the grass artificial instead of natural to have golf courses. This results many positive outcomes such as:
– Always green look.
– Perfect and precise pile height and density.
– No periodic trims or maintenance.
– No labor work needed.
– No supplements or chemical to be added on the grass.
– No trimming machines or maintenance equipment needed.
– Fixed shape, look and condition of the grass all the time.
– No watering needed nor irrigation systems.
Project Challenges
The client desired for two different colors with two green grades. Dark green and light green. This is to mimic the actual green colors grades for actual grass. This requires a whole new custom made AG to meet client requirement. In addition, the customer needs ASAP for grand opening of golf field. Therefore, time was not on our side. Nevertheless, GMC had the capabilities to design, produce and install the grass as per client requirements and within time period. Client was happy to be able to have the grass in two colors and open the golf field on scheduled time.
